Job Description: Service Technician
- Repairs and diagnostics in accordance to the repair order
- Make sure preliminary inspections report is completed before repair work commences
- Make sure that parts requisition forms are signed by you on the receipt of all parts
- Make sure that labour and parts lines are authorised by the Service Advisor before repairs commence
- Make sure that any changes in repair orders are authorised before making those changes
- Make sure that workshop manuals specifications and authorised best practices are utilized when undergoing all forms of repairs and services
- Adhere to proper health and safety practices e.g. uniforms and utilization of safety equipment
- Complete all online training courses stipulated by the manufacturers and Northwest Ltd
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Oversees training is expected to be disseminated structurally to the other technicians of Northwest Ltd
- Make sure that repair orders are tested after repairs are completed
- Ensure that the attendance policy is read and adhered to
